CIM Diploma in Hospitality & Tourism Marketing 2010-2011

Why did you choose to study the Diploma in Digital Marketing?
I have always had an interest in marketing and this course allowed me to relate and apply marketing to the industry I work in. Having been in Hospitality for a few years my main focus was on customer service and retention. The CIM course offered a broader point of view over the industry which I found beneficial.

Was the Capela course what you expected?
I found the assistance and expertise of Capela tutors really helpful. Their feedback was concise, straight to the point and made me push myself to research and explore the subjects in question in more details, which ultimately resulted in great grades.

What impact has this qualification had on your career or ability to carry out your job?
To start with, the additional knowledge and the sense of personal development made me more confident in my job. Each assignment has given me ideas of how to improve the work in my department. And having recently moved back to the UK, it was good to have a qualification from such respected institution as the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

Any further comments?
I strongly believe in continuous education and development, professional and personal, and I consider this course useful for both professionals who have already worked in the Hospitality & Tourism Industries and for those making their first steps in that world.
