CIM Diploma in Hospitality & Tourism Marketing 2009-2011
Why did you choose to study the Diploma in Hospitality & Tourism Marketing?
I was looking to complement my marketing degree by undertaking a professional qualification with international recognition and the CIM Diploma appealed to me for the range of areas covered in the course as well as its reputation.
Was the Capela course what you expected?
Yes, the course was well structured and fitted perfectly with my busy schedule. The materials provided and the knowledge, flexibility and motivation of my tutor helped me to keep on going and to achieve a pass.
What impact has this qualification had on your career or ability to carry out your job?
As Assistant Director of Sales for a London Hotel the course gave me a great insight in how to apply the marketing mix and specially in how to plan PR campaigns to fit and improve my sales strategies.
Any further comments?
Overall I am very happy with the structure and flexibility of the course that made it possible for me to get a Diploma while being on a busy schedule. It requires a lot of hard work and commitment but the sense of achievement made it worthwhile.
