Key Account Management

Background
Attraction World is the leading provider of worldwide theme park and attraction tickets to the UK travel trade. AW has 4 Business Development Managers with regional and account responsibilities around the UK and Ireland.

Decision
Capela were appointed to deliver training in Key Account Management and New Business Development to the team of 4 in AW’s head office in Birmingham.

Training
The course was made up of 4 days in total: starting with 2 days of intensive learning about understanding customers, competitor analysis, presentation skills, negotiating and planning. The 2 initial days were followed up with a one-to-one consultation 4 weeks later and then each delegate presented their sales plan to senior managers a further 2 weeks later.

Conclusion
The training was well received by delegates. Individuals benefited from a close examination of their regular activities with a return on investment focus and the group collectively benefited from sharing ideas and best practice between the delegates.
