Gary Grieve

Gary is the founding director of Capela, a languages graduate with over 20 years experience in marketing and general management for the travel industry.

He trains in sales, marketing and business skills and has been an accredited WorldHost (customer service) trainer since 2011 and a qualified China Welcome trainer since 2013. Recently he has run a number of country-wide training programmes, online and offline, as part of VisitEngland’s Discover England Fund to develop international tourism markets in the regions.

Gary previously held senior management roles at Bridge Travel, Saga Holidays and Jetlife Holidays. He is a popular speaker and moderator at travel industry conferences and events. For 4 years he was an elected Board Director of UKinbound. He was a judge of the prestigious Travel Marketing Awards from 2008 to 2018 and for 3 years chaired the CIM Travel Group.
