Assessment
Assessment for our Diplomas is through a series of project-based assignments. Capela only offers assessment by assignment as this is the most flexible path which suits our delegates best. There are therefore no exams.
Course duration and start dates
Each qualification is made up of 3 modules. Most of our delegates are employed full-time and they pursue one module at a time over a period of about 3-4 months. Most complete the course within 12-15 months.
Study in the UK or worldwide
You can study a CIM Diploma with Capela anywhere in the world. Our qualifications are by tutor-supported distance learning, meaning we provide the materials and you study independently in your home or office. You always have a personal tutor to contact for help particularly with your assignments.
In the UK, however, you have the option of tutor-supported blended learning. This is the same as distance learning PLUS you attend a 2-day group tutorial for each module, led by one of our tutors. We run several tutorials a year - maximum size 12 delegates, average around 7 - to review the course content and assignment tasks with the guidance of an expert tutor. Tutorials usually take place in our study centre near London Bridge.
