CIM Diploma in Digital Marketing 2012-2013

Why did you choose to study this Diploma?
I had numerous motivations for doing to the course. I’d become fascinated in the power of digital and social communications. It is an area of travel where there is a skill shortage and I wanted to formalise my existing knowledge with a qualification whilst pushing that knowledge further. It had also been awhile since I had done some formal studying so I wanted an academic challenge.

Was the Capela course what you expected?
The course was definitely challenging and I learnt even more than I was expecting, coming away with a broad understanding of digital marketing techniques, planning and principles. The tutorials were always of an excellent standard. I loved the travel centric focus that Capela Training bring to the digital programme and it was enjoyable to network with other industry professionals. I’m delighted to have received a Distinction in two of my CIM modules and a Merit in the other.

What impact has this qualification had on your career or ability to carry out your job?
Studying with Capela was a great learning opportunity that definitely helped facilitate my career move from recruitment into my current digital marketing role with Choice Hotels. I’d 100% recommend Capela Training to anyone considering doing the Diploma in Digital Marketing.
